This Web Site ( The Saudi
Medicine Information Center - SMIC -) is a non-official web site. It is based on personal
effort of the developer (s) and maintainer (s) . The aim of it is to serve as an
Ambassador for our country " Saudi Arabia " , hoping to contribute a bit for the
advance of medical and health education for both the professionals and the public.
SMIC web site ( will
have ) extensive links to the WWW "web sites". We have no control over
their contents. It is clear that ALL the contents of the INTERNET related to the
health should be interpreted with caution and they should be clear that such
data DO NOT replace the role of the MD looking directly for the care of patients .
While we do regular check
up of the different links , yet it is impossible to be thorough and complete , hence a
misplaced link may occur or inappropriate one , we would appreciate your help to alert us

web master " to take an appropriate action .
This work needs lot of
time and effort to maintain it so we are inviting enthusiastic and motivated Saudi editors
to form an editorial board for SMIC .
